"I have had two small bowel resections due to Crohn's and for me Vivonex is crucial for energy, weight maintenance and nutrition. I need it to supplement my diet. I also have food and other allergies, so I drink it over ice and don't use the flavor pkts. with dyes and artificial flavors."

"I am allergic to all food protein, and rely on Vivonex TEN as my sole source of nutrition. It is the only formula that I could find that doesn't get it's protein from soy (which I am also allergic to). I cannot use the flavor packets because of the dyes, but as long as the Vivonex is chilled, it tastes fine to me. It is very expensive to live on."
