"We bought these when we got married 7 years ago. Two kids later, we were looking for some other sizes and some more. Unfortunately, the kitchen store where we purchased them stopped selling them and they were getting to be outrageous through other online retailers, then I heard that World Market had them.
We ordered them and have been very pleased with our purchase. They came and were exactly like the ones that we bought years ago. Two were broken in the box, but World Market refunded us the difference as that size was already sold out.
We love these glasses and are really glad that we got more. I love the look and the feel, but most importantly, I love the fact that they are tough. Our children are very hard on the glasses and they've stood up to the abuse well. They've even been dropped (more like thrown - our children are small) off the table onto the hard wood floor and survived without any damage.
Great product and a good buy."

"Have had glasses like these for thirty years. Now my daughter is getting married and wanted the same glasses but had difficulty finding this particular style. I finally located some at World Market and ordered them in two sizes. [...] Wonderful glasses--last forever!"

"Sold at [...] for years, they are now hard to find. While I'd pay almost anything for them, they last forever and are almost unbreakable and resist rim chipping. They are on the heavy side, but not unbalanced or bottom heavy or clumsy feeling like so many substantial glasses. The largest size is unusual and handles a whole soda with ice. They're attractive enough to be used for anything short of a formal china and silver service. They have no peer for hard family use."

"I bought six of the largest Picardie glasses over ten years ago as a college student after my roommate smashed most of my cheap glasses. I still have all of them, there isn't even a chip on them. I'm about to have my first baby and thought that sturdy glasses would be a great idea, so I decided to replace all my glasses with Picardie, but found they weren't being made anymore. When I found out that World Market had a stock of them I was incredibly happy and bought a full set. You won't be disappointed. The largest glasses are a bit heavy, but you get used to them quickly, and they're not for small kids anyway."
