"Very nice shoe. Looks cute and my toddler seems very happy. Willingly lifts her feet up to get them slipped on. I was pleased that, while it looks like it is a buckle closure, it is actually a fake and it s a velcro closure under the strap. Very stiff leather - My ...

"Very stiff leather - My daughter loves her other Stride Rite shoes and so I was surprised these were not comfortable for her (we've purchased half a dozen non-sandal type S.R. shoes). She's 2 1/2 so not able to fully express why she didn't like them, but she said they "itched" and took them off after only a couple minutes not to put them on again (thanks Zappos for the return policy!). "These shoes are great. I got it for my 21 month old duaghter and she loves wearing these. I feel they are comfortable and a great summer shoe. I am sure she can wear it in the winter too with socks. A little expensive though for kids who grwo out of them quickly. "
