A: "Manual Defrost" does mean every 6-8 months you have to empty out the freezer, melt all the ice build-up inside, and restock it.

Perfect Product
"My wife and I downsized from a large home to an apartment. Space is a premium. After searching via Internet and actual stores, this compact freezer meets our every need. We especially like the door shelves and wire covered basket. We are especially pleased with product and delivery via Home Depot was great. Exactly as promised.

"I use this for storing packaged foods so as to keep my upright freezer available for bulk meat purchases. It seals tight, is very quiet, easy to set up. I put it on a heavy wooden platform to raise it about 12 inches from the floor so it is easier to reach into it. I couldn't be happier with it!"
