Inexpensive, Practical, and Very Simple
"This product does exactly what it was designed to do: provide a flat surface to use either a pressure mounted gate or hardware-mounted gate with an awkward banister or railing (for us, wrought iron). When I first received it I thought it might be missing some parts because it is the most simple contraption I have ever bought, but it really does work. Not thick enough
"I bought this so I wouldn't have to drill into my banister. Well the screws that came with the first years gate I bought were quite a bit longer than the 1" depth of the board. So my options were to add a second board to make it thicker or drill into my banister. For the price I paid I shouldn't have to do either...." Read Full Review »
