Inexpensive, Practical, and Very Simple
"This product does exactly what it was designed to do: provide a flat surface to use either a pressure mounted gate or hardware-mounted gate with an awkward banister or railing (for us, wrought iron). When I first received it I thought it might be missing some parts because it is the most simple contraption I have ever bought, but it really does work. It works, but...
"We are using the gate adapter for the bottom of our stairs. We didn't feel that it was safe enough for the top of the stairs but works great for the bottom. We really love that we didn't have to drill into our new wood posts! The only down side is that when we installed the adapter the post and the adapter didn't fit flush against each other so we had to add some blocks of wood between the two. We made it wo..." "My baby girl's safety comes first, but I was dreading drilling into our railposts to fit baby gates at the top and bottom of our stairs. Then I found this! It says it works on square posts best but mine are square at the bottom and round at the top and it works perfectly! "
