"I use a Mac and wanted something more than a memory stick. This is a LOT more than a memory stick. It works great as an MP3 play and just OK as a memory stick. Its read and write speeds are rather slow. But it's good enough for me. I liked it so much I wrote a review of it.[...]"

"Plugs in like a Flash Drive. Not too much larger than a pack of gum, so it's easy to carry. The OLED screen is bright, clear, easy to read - I wish my "big" player had a screen this good.
Sound quality is very good with a good pair of headphones. It also sounds very good when connected to a home stereo. Unfortunately, it turned a monaural podcast into loud static. I fixed it by converting the podcast to stereo -- this was undocumented.
The FM tuner is very sensitive and sounds good. Recording is best suited for spoken-word broadcasts.
I have already recommended this to several friends as a good, simple MP3 player. Especially good as a second player, for use when traveling, for kids, etc."

"When I saw a 1gb MP3 player/FM radio/Voice Recorder/Thumb drive for $[...], my first thought was "no way". So I ordered one for my wife who has never succumbed the lure of an iPod, and the thing is remarkably well made and full-featured. A bright, easy to read screen, good sound, plug and play with windows XP (just drag and drop your music) PLUS 2 headphone jacks and no cable to lose (the USB connector is under a cap on one end). What a bargain. Even without the microSD expansion slot that lets you double (or maybe triple) the memory."

"I bought this recently, and thought I should share some important information that is not available from the online description or manual.First, the order in which songs are played is essentially the order that the songs were copied to the device (within a folder). Windows explorer doesn't copy them in any particular order. If you really want to play the songs in a specific order, use a free utility called "FolderSort",[...]Second, there are 2 "modes" with the menu. You get one menu while a song is playing, and another when a song is not playing. In order to browse the contents of the MP3 and skip directly to a song you want to hear, you need to be playing the device, and then press the "M" button to go to the "File Browser". If you press "M" without playing a song, you won't be able to get to "File Browser".Also, it is important to know that this device plays both mp3 and windows media (wma) files. However, it won't play DRM protected wma files. There is also a small pop noise when you first turn on the device and start playing. It is not too loud, so it is bearable. To change the volume, you need to press one button first to get it into "volume" mode, and then you can press the +/- keys to adjust volume. If you don't press that special button first, +/- will forward/backward to the next song.Since this device is so cheap, I gave it 3 stars even with these limitations. They are not so bad to workaround if you want to pay such a low price."
