Head unit sensor went out

Bottom Line:

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Really liked the unit the three days it worked. The receiving sensor went out in the head unit so the remote won't work. Had to send it back to Bose already, so I now have to wait 3-6 weeks to get it back. Did I get a new unit, or rebuilt?

I looked at this system for a long time before finally deciding to purchase. The media center we received was defective but the company was very responsive in getting a new one to me. Once we set it up it was amazing! Especially the HD TV stations that broadcast concerts. Movies are great also. It was like being in a theater. The only thing I wish it would do is play Blu-Ray DVDs. I'm hoping a software upgrade is coming!

An Overpriced DVD Player

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Wrongly described as Home "Theater", this is only good for music and/or video from DVDs. Watching HDTV movies, sound is no better than built in speakers on my Sony 50" HDTV. If you watch or listen to DVDs all day, sound is good, but not worth the price for this average DVD player.
