"I'm disappointed in this product.My first DEGX2 made squeaking sounds when drying; when the technician came to my house,he destroyed my dryer.Fisher&paykel replaced my dryer[...],unfortunately the new dryer was louder than the first dryer we had, so they replaced it with another one and it has the same issues.It makes grinding noises when the dryer reverse tumbles..."

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
