"My wife and I bought this microwave 17 months ago for casual use such as heating leftovers and frozen vegetables. We used it last night to defrost a frozen meal that required 22 minutes of use. This was obviously too much for the m/w. After use there was an electrical smell and the microwave will no longer heat. When trying to use the warranty which covers the magnetron tube from year 2 thru 5, we discovered that even with the part being covered it would have cost almost as much as buying a new microwave. We will buy another brand and hope it's not manufactured in the same place with the same materials and just re-branded. Interestingly, we got rid of our old microwave that still worked after 20 years of use so we could get new features...what a mistake."

"People complain about the loud beeps but they don't realize you can silence everything! Check out "options" and follow the directions. I bought the same brand because of this feature. I hate beeping!
The buttons feel a bit stiff but am thinking they may loosen up after a bit of use.
This microwave is fine. My previous whirlpool only lasted 4 years and I'm hoping this one goes a bit longer."

"Very easy to use, ample features. 1200 watts provides plenty of cooking power. Sensor cooking for reheating works great and eliminates overcooking."
