Excellent value for money
"I purchased the full-sized version of this for my elderly mother about a year ago . She was moving into a retirement community and her queen-sized bed was too big for her new bedroom. I was impressed by the degree to which this headboard pretty much "matched" her existing (and quite expensive) solid maple bedroom set. Very nicely finished. Cute, but not a great product overall.
"We bought this for our 4 year old son and it looks cute in his room. However, there is a reason this is an inexpensive product. It is difficult to put together...took my husband 4-5 hours and he is EXTREMELY handy. Holes did not line up properly and when he had to pound sections to get them to attach, the veneer breaks through VERY easily. "Was disappointed with the quality of the headboard. I understood that this was a "veneer" product, however, pieces arrived scratched, holes were not all drilled to correct size, and the wood and veneer split when inserting pins. The shelves had excess veneer that was peeling off from the wood.
