"Have had the cooktop for just barely a year and enjoyed cooking on it. Up until today we would have happily recomended this cooktop. Today we noticed that the rubber feet, which are glued into the burner grates, are falling off, causing the heavy grate to scratch the stainless steel cooktop. KitchenAid customer service offered to send us two as a "one time courtesy". So what happens as more of the rubber feet fall off, we ask? We are prepared to BUY a set of rubber grommet feet. [...] Hello! KitchenAid put them on a cooktop! Did anybody at KitchenAid clue in the designers and engineers that this is a cooktop??? It gets hot if used. We expected to be using this cooktop for at least ten years. Now we anticipate having an ongoing maintenance nightmare for the rest of the ten or so years we own this. (If it lasts that long.)"
