"This unit was bad out of the box. Temperature regulates at about +/- 10 degrees or worse. It's noisy (or 64 dB which is fine if you want to mask human speech or never use the telephone in the same room). I wouldn't buy another Amana product again if they paid me. [...] It got 2 stars because the software wouldn't ALLOW LESS or NONE! All in all a totally unsatisfactory experience."

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

"We are very happy with our new Amana heat pump. We use it in our Sun Room. Even though the glass filters out 30 percent of the heat, you can imagine how much heat the other 70 percent lets in. Our Sun Room is 14 X 16 feet and is now quite comfortable, it is like living outside."
