The Secret
"I love this book. A few weeks ago I was in a life slump. I wasn't sure what I wanted out of life. I didn't know if I wanted to go back to school, get a job, start my own busines or what. I started reading self help books and they all kind of seemed the same no substance no great cause and effect. Then I heard about "The Secret". It truly is a life altering book and a way of life. If you put good things out in the universe and you think positive thoughts the universe will give you what you want. All you have to do is ask for it and believe it. I recently applied for three different jobs in different lines of work; Law firm, Financial assistant, Medical biller, I went to all jobs in complete confidence and applied " The Secret" and I was hired at all three companies. I am a believer in what this book can do for you and how everyone should apply "The Secret in your everyday life. I have recommended this book to family and friends. I recently bought this book for my best friend who was having similar issue as I was in life. She didn't know what direction she wanted it to go and all she did was read the first few chapters of this book applied for a job that was very high up in the chain and she asked for the job and she was asked to meet with the head director. I can go on and on about all the good things that have happened to me but I don't want to take up a lot of room. I can't say enough good things about this book other then take a moment to open your heart and mind and experience the good that thrives from reading this amazing revelation."
The Secret-DVD
"I had purchased "The Secret" book for myself (from Overstock.com) and had it read in 1 day. My girlfriend who has 4 kids and not a lot of free time to read, wanted the DVD for her birthday. I purchased it for her, knowing she would benefit as much as I had, if not more. The two of us watched it together and it was just as awesome as the book. I was very surprised that the DVD followed almost exactly along with the book. It's easier to deal with when you've read the book first. I have since purchased two more books for friends and will continue to tell others about it. I expected an earthshattering concept and was totally amazed at how simple the ideas in "The Secret" are, so much of it is just common sense. Too many of us are totally steeped in a lifestyle not productive to positive thinking, so much of this stems from our childhoods but luckily living "The Secret" will just get easier with practice."

"I strongly recommend Secret, it is a wonderful motivational book also the DVD. We have recently gone through a worse experience of our lives. When it seemed that there is no end, one day within the last month on Oprah I saw these guys from Secret. I am so glad I watched that show. Then went online and ordered these two products.Watching and reading Secret was the best thing I did, helped put the perspective in life. Changes your way of thinking, it does not happen automatically , one needs to make an effort. My husband is a skeptic so are most people. As it tells in the book you can not change people you need to change your way of thinking about them. At times it is hard but when you apply the secret it does help you to snap out of those thoughts that bring negative energy. That is very very important. Negative energy indeed is a disaster to your mind , body and everyone around you.Bravo for the secret team."
empowering and enlightening
"The info in this book, from some of the most successful people of all time, is so uplifting and empowering that it can't be bad. Maintaining and practising the advise is not as easy as it sounds. It takes constant work and vigilance. So often we actually enjoy our self created misery that it is difficult to give up. Our complaining and whining and self sacrificing have become our friends, our comfort our "safe place" that it's hard to say good bye. This book will help you break those bonds to unhealthy relationships. To let go of self destructive thoughts and attitudes. To say it's a good thing to be "healthy, wealthy and wise." It was meant to be and this book illustrates it well. Don't let the cover and "fussiness" get in the way of the message. No hocus-pocus, voodoo here. Just common sense, when you think about it."

However, the concepts are not new, but can be found in writings of groups as Unity or Religious Science. It encourages readers to look at what they think, good or bad, and to observe the consequences of thought. That is probably the major value of the book, yet it seems far-fetched to assert that thought alone will make you rich or change things in your favor. At best, this book challenges readers to take more careful note of their thought processes."
