"I have been debating getting a drill here for some time but when this item came up for sale it made my decision to wait no longer an easy one. This is a great brand name and with two batteries instead of one I won't be stuck in the middle of a real project waiting for a battery to charge! "I bought this item because of the brand name, and the extra battery was a real plus. However, in my 3rd time to use it, while pre-drilling a small hole in a piece of 1 X 6, it began to feel awfully hot in my hand and I noticed it smoking badly. I am afraid to use it anymore. "Biggest pile of junk I have ever bought. The battery was the first thing to break. The catches broke and now the battery won't stay in the drill. Shortly after the first battery failed, the second one also came apart. Maybe you should consider dropping this item.. "
