"I LOVE this playmat and so does my baby. It's thicker than one I got at a dept. store. It's safe for infants, unlike the other that is only rated for 3 yrs and up. It has bright and bold colors that make it fun to look at. Each shape has insets of smaller versions of it. I am going to get a couple more of this one for the living room. Great product, but what's with the smell
"I love the mat in that the foam is thick, the quality is good and the shapes are fun. However, when I took them out of the package the smell was so toxic that I could hardly stand being in the room. We left them out in the open air for four weeks hoping that the smell would dissipate but it hasn't.
