Very limited focus
"I had originally purchased this lens for portrait use on my D200. I found that since it only focuses to 7 ft. you have to be very careful not to exceed this focus range if your shooting wide open. Other than this 1 problem, it's an excellent lens. Very sharp, great for macro...." Read Full Review »

"One of the best lenses I have in my bag. The copy that I have is very sharp. I can say that, for all eight Nikon lenses I own...this one is the sharpest. It can focus down to a 1:1 life size reproduction ratio. I use it a lot for coin collections and small objects. "
