Working well for me
"I have had this product for over a year and have found it to be very adequate for personal use. It is far more durable than the older Rotex product that I have, and produces more consistent letters. I like the size of the letters as opposed to the other product. I agree that the letters are a little far apart. I recently dropped the device onto a concrete floor from 4 feet. It was undamaged...." Don't try to build a better mousetrap...
"The letters are w a y t o o w i d e l y s p a c e d; in addition, they randomly move up and down on the tape, so things don't line up horizontally. I bought one in the early 1990s which was much, much better. They shouldn't have tried to "build a better mousetrap" -- it was a simple, well-designed device; there was no need whatsoever to re-design it. "Printing is too widely spaced, lettering jumps up and down. I wanted to use it in my workroom to label small hardware bins.
