Skinny B#@!% was SO NOT what I expected. The story contains lots of explicit language which does not bother me at all... but some people may be offended. The authors are brutally "honest" and don't hold back at all. I enjoyed the overall message of the book but do not necessarily agree with all the practices and beliefs the authors promote.Ultimately, it's a decent book that made me laugh. I'd recommend for a long flight or beach read.

There is such an obesity problem in the USA, this book explains why and tells you how to not be a victim.

I bought this book and after reading it was appalled. It basically scares you away from eating anything except fruits and vegetables! The right way to eat healthy is to keep everything in moderation. Changing to this tactic is sure to cause people to deny themselves what they want and inevitably not stick to the diet at all.

A friend of a friend also read this book and has now gotten to the point where a) she eats hardly anything and b) annoys everyone around her when she talks about they food they are eating.

DON'T READ THIS BOOK!

This is a life changing book which I love very much! It really changed the way I think about food...both me and my roommate are now vegans. This will be our 4th week, and I don't think we will ever go back. We work together, and it's really not that hard. I would really suggest this book to anyone that wants to get on track. I already lost 5.5 lbs!

This book is great and very informative. It has changed the way I look and feel about food. Highly recommend reading it.

I LAUGH AT EVERY TURN OF A PAGE.....THE INFORMATION WAS USEFUL AND ENLIGHTING

I think everybody should read this. This book reveals the truth behind very common food myths. It's like the Bible about foods. It changed how I view food altogether.

i wish that i would have known ahead of time that it was predominantly a vegan-based book. the information is useful and cleverly written for anyone (even dreaded meat eaters like myself!) if you go into it with an open mind. the writing style is harsh and hilarious. i happened to love the way it was written, however to a more conservative reader, i could see how it would be offensive and vulgar.

My husband became Vegan a while ago and I supported him by going Vegetarian. I didn't think I could go "all the way" with Vegan. But I heard this book was good, so I read it. Besides the entertainment of the witty writers, the information provided is so powerful that I am slowly weaning myself off dairy completely. Just be aware that there are Chapters in this book that aren't pretty but are meant to leave an impression on you and THAT it does! I am glad to have read it. I feel more socially responsible.

This book is very well written. It is written to try to convience you to become Vegan, but you can take other things away from it too. Very well documented data backed up by refrences. I really enjoyed the comentary in this book and it was easy to read. Not to mention funny! I took many things with me after reading this book. I think twice now. I would and have recommend this book!
