"My daughter loves these pencils for school. Normally, they are very expensive so I would never buy them for her. Staples had a great back to school sale that made them affordable. Now, everyone is happy!"

"I don't know why pencils with the hard lead are so hard to find. Staples had about a kazillion with the soft lead, only ONE with the hard lead. With the hard lead pencils, you get a nice sharp, clear line that just doesn't smudge."

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

"I prefer #3 pencils over #2 because I write with great pressure. Since the graphite is lighter in tone, there is no more smudging between pages in notebooks. This pencil also has a fantastic eraser."
