"We bought this before we turned our son around. He was about 11 months old and makes a long commute in the car twice a day, so he eats his breakfast off of it. I have NO complaints. I love that its soft, and easily cleaned. Now that he is forward facing he has even figured out how to lay his cup down so it doesn't fall off. Although he hasn't quite gotten coloring down yet, I'm sure that when he does it will serve its purpose then too. As to the "can't clip it on my seat" problem- we have a Cosco seat, and I put 2 other carseats in my car daily and I have never had a problem clipping the tray on any of them... thats why the straps are adjustable!"

"The tray is nice and soft so not only safe, but can easily be moved (even thrown) around the car to get it out of the way when not using. We leave one side clipped on, and just flip it out of the way and it hangs onto the seat of the car next to the car seat when not in use. Or you can unclip both sides and stow elsewhere. True its not quite big enough for an 8 X 11 sheet of paper, so I cut some paper down a little for him to draw on when he is in the car, and leave some sheets in the car. This tray clip easily to the side bottom edges of the fabric of our Britax booster no problem, and that would not be a problem with any car seat we have ever owned, so not sure why anyone said they had a problem with this??? Just look for the bottom edges of the car seat material and clip on there. This is soft small and light so very easy to travel with. It is definitely a perfect eating tray. Not great for a drink, but no lap tray is as they all sit at an angle. Most cars or carseats have cup holders so this should not be an issue."

"I agree 100% with those who loved the desk but hated the clips. When I opened the tray from the box I thought they were kidding! They are small, flimsy and extremely awkward to try to clip on with a moving toddler in the seat. I also could not get it to stay in place once it was fastened on both sides. My 18 month old easily yanks the tray from her lap because of the flimsy clasps. Other than that it is perfect for snacks and coloring on small paper."

"This product isn't perfect, but there aren't a lot of choices out there. I am happy to report that the tray works fine in the rear-facing position, which is something I was looking for before a long car trip with my 9 1/2 month-old son. It works great for snacks and toys. Our carseat is a Radian80, and it doesn't really have sides to it, so this set-up worked well. Plus, it is really easy to flip out of the way when not using."
