Babi Italia Classic White Mon Cheri Single Crib Reviews

Brought this crib home, husband put it together, 5 minutes later we knew we needed to bring it back. Beautiful, sturdy crib, until you need to work the drop side. It is a single knee drop side and that is very unsturdy and flimsy!

They ruined a nice crib with this type of mechanism. Not safe for baby either. Child might lean on the drop side and fall out or over side.

The crib is very pretty and strong. The only thing I'm not happy with is the rail. When I'm trying to get the side rail down to put the baby in the crib it's hard to do. You hafto pull rail up with one hand, than push the rail in with your knee, than you can bring the rail down. Plus it's not easy with the baby in your hand and it's loud. So if your baby's a light sleeper like mine, it's not the best crib. But if your taller than me, than you can just reach over and put the baby in the crib or take the baby out of the crib without using the rails. My husband loves this crib. Now my daughters 18mos and we just hafto convert into a toddler bed.

The instructions do not tell you to build this product in the room in which it is to be used. This crib is 31" wide and does not fit through the doors in our house. Sadly, I learned this after building it in the garage. In order to get it in the babies' room, I'm going to have to take it all apart and then reassemble it. The 2 hours I spent building it are wasted, except to know that I have the parts.

Kids are not here yet, so I can't speak to its use, but it seems better constructed than a lot of furniture I have assembled, although the sliding mechanism seems like it can be improved.

The manufacturer should tell people building it that it MUST be built in the intended room, or at least that they should measure the doors to see if it will go through the house.

Good value crib. Looks great, easy to put together. Took a lot of wear and tear from my 2 year old toddler jumping up and down in it. My only complaint is that I was never successful getting the side rail to move up and down. I just had my toddler jump as I lifted her out.

We bought this crib over a year ago for our daughter and it has held up very well. We did not have any problems putting it together or dealing with it after that. The only drawback I see is that it is hard to move the rail up and down but since both I and my husband are very tall we have never used it.

The instructions were horrible, the pictures of instructions were different on each page some showing one hole some showing two.
