"These blankets are by far the best we've received out of 20-30 baby blankets. We use them all the time for our son (5 weeks) not only at night but in his stroller, car seat, bouncer, etc. They are warm but lightweight, and the perfect size for swaddling. "These are soft, somewhat lightweight. Not what I consider "thermal". But I think they are perfect. A little stretchy so it makes it easy to snugly wrap my 13 lb. baby. I have green and yellow. They wash nice and keep their softness, even though I don't use fabric softener on the baby's clothes. "

"We have used Gerber thermal blankets with all three of our babies for swaddling (my oldest daughter, now 7, still sleeps with one as a blankie at night!) I feel like they are safer blanket to have in the crib. I love the solid sage color of this one...matches my newest baby's nursery! "
