Take the GAGGIA Coffee espresso machine and add a silver metallic finish for a high-end look. The Gaggia Coffee DeLuxe was designed with the new Euro-Silver color and the cappuccinatore (Automatic Frother) that makes frothing milk easier then ever. It shares the same easy to clean, high strength powered coated surface as the Gaggia Coffee. As with all Gaggia machines expect commercial quality components. Gaggia espresso is true Italian espresso. Thick with crema, black as night, more flavor per ounce then any other home machine. All Gaggia brewing components are specifically manufactured to ensure top quality espresso. This includes the heavy duty portafilter handle that weighs in at one pound of chrome plated brass. The Gaggia Coffee DeLuxe comes ready to brew pods or coffee beans View espresso machines that are pod usable Which is better: pods or coffee beans?

"I've had experience with Gaggia machines for years and years and haven't found anything that comes close to this sort of quality in the price range. I am very impressed with this machine. The espresso produced by this machine is excellent with good flavor and crema. The unit is sturdy and is easy to maintain. Solid chrome-plated brass hardware and a sturdy housing really makes the thing seem solid, and provides even heat distribution for a good cup of espresso.
Note: Gaggia's tend to require a very fine grind and will perform poorly if you use cheap coffee. But once you figure it out it'll make a great cup every time. I just tried using an E.S.E. pod for the first time: tasted ok, but not quite as strong as when I dose the grinds myself. Also, there wasn't as much Crema.
The machine lacks a 3-way solenoid meaning you can't backflush water through the system (sucking water back through the brew group)."
