My husband's been coloring for quite a few years and we always got the higher $ brands. This was on sale and we tried it. The color is a lovely shade, very natural darkish brown, not fake brown. It covered the grays really well, (even though he rinsed before I thought he should!) Hair was soft and silky afterwards and its lasting really well. Also nice that he can use part of a tube of colorant (he has quite short hair) and keep the rest for next time. Read more

Use monthly to cover gray. I've been coloring for 15-20 years. I discovered this in 2003 and have been using ever since. It looks natural on me. Love it!!! This product is very easy to use and the color (#38) is very natural looking. I use it to cover gray and make my hair look more youthful! I can't imagine what I'd look like with gray hair! Be sure to apply to unwashed hair. Also, protect surfaces as well as clothing as it will stain! Read more
