I have horrible surgery scars, hypertrophic scars that are raised and thick and rope-like. I have tried expensive silicone pads and mederma and every product out there and this inexpensive pad has done the best! Results are quite amazing. The scars are 2 years old now and I have seen more healing from this product then any other! I recommend this to anyone who has a raised or thick scar. Read more

I had to get surgery on my neck and it left a really nasty raised scar. I mean it was about three inches long, red and really raised. It hurt so bad to the touch. I have to admit that I didn't use the product to the full because cleaning it was a bit of a hassle. The sides of it really just start to pick up random debris and while it's on it was a little itchy. I did use it for about 2 months and even though I still have the scar it dramatically reduced the swelling and the red discoloration is gone so it's not as noticeable. I know if I were to use it again for a longer period of time it would go away completely. It really doesn't hurt to try depending on where your scar is and how large it is. Read more

I have been using this product for three weeks for a face laceration that I needed stitches for. I was treated by a plastic surgeon and he suggested this product. I have noticed some reduction in the scar size and color. It helps with itching and pain that I get in the scar area. I actually like wearing it. I use the topical when I am not wearing it, because it helps with skin drying. I wear it at least 15 hrs a day. Read more

This item was recommended to me by the surgeon. It stuck for a couple of weeks, but after that thick chunks started to begin to come off. It is some kind of gooey silicone. Also lint from the bed sheets started to stick to the edges. Now it is useless and doesn't stick anymore. It does not wash correctly like the instructions state, the dirt and lint stayed stuck in the goo. I am going to ask for a refund, [$] is a lot of money. Also it does not explain to you how a piece of gooey silicone is going to help fix a scar. Read more

I have bought two boxes of this product so far and have used it on two new scars. I started applying the strips (cut in half, one for each scar) when my stitches were removed and the wounds closed. They stick well but come off easily if they get wet from sweat or water and start getting nasty within a few days from dirt, fuzz, pet hairs sticking to the edges. I wore the strips for anywhere from 10 to 20 hours a day, used the oil when I wasn't wearing the silicone pads, and waited 14 weeks. I see no real difference and I have been taking pictures once a week; nothing more than healing without the pads would look. I tried taping the pads on when I would sleep but most of the time they come off anyway. I used exactly as directed: washed and stored on the foil packet but after 6 wks I had to buy new pads because the old ones go so gross. These will not last three months despite what the packaging claims. Read more
