A must have item in your bag

By far the safest, fastest and easiest cleaning method for dust on the sensor of all cleaning methods I've used. I now reserve wet cleaning for only stuck particles but always begin with Dust-Aid Platinum. Per use, its also the most economical method. Its simple to use, and unlike swabs, this will never contribute lint to the chamber that swabs can leave behind. Just get it, you won't be sorry. By the way, get the sensor loupe 7x model to EASILY see when your sensor is clean or dirty. Its one of the most useful items I own. Read more

good to remove loose dust. As visible dust brushes can remove lot of dust very easily but still leave one dust particle behind, you will be easily remove exactly this last dust particle. To remove dust particles only with that tool seamed not the right way for me.
It is not easy to use this tool at the boarders of the senser (especially in the D3X).
Sticky dust can not be removed with this tool. There wet cleaning is the only working method for me. Read more

Any time I increase my apeture to F10 or greater I would find small spots on my pictures, both in Macro and Wide angle shots. The dots were dust particals on the sensor filter. This product does an excellent job in keeping the filter clean. My Canon 20D does not have an automatic sensor cleaner. Read more

Product came with easy to understand instructions and worked as promised.I have a camera with a self cleaning sensor but there were some large specks it just wouldn't get rid of and in the past simply blowing the specks off resulted in them returning later so after a recommendation from a friend I took a chance on this product I would definitely recommend this to my friends Read more

I used to have two stages of sensor cleaning: blowing with a Giotto Rocket and then wet cleaning. I now have three stages: Blower, Dust-Aid and Wet. I find that Dust-Aid takes care of a high percentage of the particles that a blower cant dislodge. It is quick and easy. The combination of blower and dust-aid has *greatly* reduced my need for wet cleaning. This makes the product well worth it for me. Read more
