I've had several other brands of espresso makers. They never lasted a full year, even the expensive ones. Solis had great reviews so I tried it. I'm ultra pleased with the preformance and how it holds up to my treatment. It is a breeze to clean, and gives superior shots with great crema. I will be sad when far in the future this machine will need to be replaced. I will definately buy the same one or its upgraded version. Solis is the best of the best! I've had a Gaggia, and now the Solis. They don't compare. The Gaggia a good priced entry machine just doesn't have the ability to pull the perfect shot. I never got the crema that I wanted. With the Solis, it is no problem getting the perfect shot every single time. Of course I went with the fully manual version. After working at a [...] I wanted the most control I could get over the process, and the Solis 70 version is the best i've found. Perfect shots, easy to use, large resavoir, and the best pressure available. I wouldn't want any other machine no matter what bells and whistles it has. Read more

I used it daily, two to three cup per day for me and my family. I do like the pump with 19 bars of presure, not a whole lot better than 15 bars, but it is better, and it seen like more foam in the milk. Read more
