Sealed grates are truly sealed, so easy to clean. That feature alone makes this a great purchase. Fantastic layout of burners because the surface is level and the rectangular grates and configuration of burners allows for vertical or horizontal orientation of large pots. Great for the griddle or roasting size pans. The two larger burners heat things super fast, this reduces wait time for example when boiling water. I didn't believe the salesperson but it really is true! Knobs are easily accessible. Stainless steel finish still looks like new and I've had the cooktop several years already. I love the cooktop but I would caution anyone buying the accompanying downdraft that the suction is extremely powerful and may affect the flame or possibly even make it blow out if the downdraft is used on high level. This is a fault of the downdraft, not the cooktop which has superior btu power!
