Buyer Beware!!!! I purchased this product for my 8 year old son on Friday. Sunday we found out the 1,2,3 set up was true, opening the box, taking product out of the box, reading manuel. But the 2 1/2 hour assembly wasn't mentioned. Running tubes and the unfolding of this giant slide/pool was horrific in 90 degree weather. After getting the pipeline slide positioned and inflated, we began running the water to fill it up to find out that the air was seeping out from the outer slide and no matter how much air the blower was blowing the outer slide began to slump, then the water came out. It was the worst experience. Getting in contact with the manufacturer was just as bad. They must have only one line in use, after calling 12 times because the line was busy, then after holding for so long for someone to pickup, the line was disconnected. Every year for my son's birthday we buy a waterslide and a pool. My son is almost 7 and my daughter almost 4. We've had two other banzai slides in the past- the original which was great, but had some design flaws and the one for the easy set pool. This is by far the best. The design is great since it has an area separate from the big slide, it prevents the big kids from sliding into the little ones in the pool. It also has a separate little slide into the pool for the little ones. My husband who is about 180 pounds has even used the slide. We've had about 6 kids on it at once so far, ranging in age from 3 to 11 and it has held up pretty well. Needless to say the kids love it. On the other hand, it is hard to dry and we actually had to purchase the little tikes storage bag with wheels from tru in order to store it. Great Product!!! Kids love it!!! We had it for 2 days but then product came apart at the seams. Tried to get new one shipped from the company & I have gotten the run around. No one will back up the product.[...]After 4 weeks of talking with Banzai, they still will not ship it out. [...]. I am now out [$], have a broken product, & my kids are sad because the summer is almost over. To top it off, I even purchased the Buyers Protection Plan extended warranty and still can not get it replaced. Please think twice about investing in this product. This is the second Banzai Slide we have purchased for our children; the first was the original 'Banzai Falls' which lasted two fun-filled years before it had so many air leaks we had to throw it away. This year we went with this one because it looked to be something they would really enjoy...and they do!!! We love the design (especially the two slides and the water cannons)! The quality leaves something to be desired as it has two holes in it right out of the box. It does not inflate as it should and the larger of the two slides leaked a few gallons of water inside after a long day and has still not drained out after three days now. We contacted Toy Quest (who took a long time to answer the phone) and they are shipping us out a new slide. We purchased the three year protection plan this time so we can get one more year out of it than the last one we purchased. We are hoping that the quality of the new one that they shipped is better. My kids love the slide. It is easy to use and setup. After two weeks, the motor kept cutting off because it was getting over heated after only 30 minutes of use. I called the manufacturer and they did offer to send a new blower, but they were on backorder. Luckily the retailer I bought it from guarantees their product and exchanged the whole thing for a new one. This slide is the hit of the neighborhood. Read more
