I have resorted to buying a pair online at full retail price just to replace my favorite pair from seven years ago. I own seven other pairs that rotate through my daily work in a demanding medical setting. These pants have survived every possible bodily fluid shed upon them inadvertently in the course of my work. More that once, people have said to me, "You'll have to throw those away...". I perform my usual immediate pre-treat (cold water and a baby wipe), rinse, then wash as usual, check the affected areas (GONE!!!) and dry @ 10 min before hanging them up to dry. These pants are great - I bought 5 pairs (black, blue, & 3 various creams) when I took a job teaching in Arizona because they were comfortable, fit well and light weight. I later bought 2 more black and a light tan. I have worn them almost everyday for 3 years and they are not worn out at all - I am VERY dissappointed that they are apparently being phased out - every time I check there are less colors and sizes available - now it is only bone. Hopefully the 8 pairs I have will last, but I really wish I could get a dark grey or brown or even another light tan. They are worth every penny of the price. I can sit and move easily in them; they are machine washable and don't need to be ironed - what else could I want - except another pair or 2 - Sigh... Read more
