This is not a grill for the faint of heart, which is a positive thing. This is a very large grilling setup that comes in a very large, heavy (~200 pounds) box. How they fit so many parts in the box is an engineering marvel in itself.

It took me roughly 2.5 hours to assemble it, from opening the box until finished. The assembly instructions were very well written, the most informative ones I've seen for a grill actually. Nothing difficult at all about the assembly but make sure you have a LOT of space to spread the parts out prior to assembly - it pretty much took up the entire floor of our single car garage. We wheeled it into the kitchen and out the patio door and it "barely" fit through a standard door opening so keep that in mind if you have smaller doors and might need to wheel it through one.

There's just two of us and so far we've just used the gas side for burgers and steaks. The middle burner is all we have needed. With just that burner on high it will keep the t

Four cooking methods in one unit!! Use the side burner for warming food or put some cast iron on it for those who like blackened food. Gas is great for quick weekday meals or food that just needs to be cooked without any charcoal flavor. Charcoal side is well thought out with a clever method to move coals up and down - even competitors at twice the price don't offer that. The cooking grates are professional grade cast iron covered in enamel. Even a rookie can create perfect grill marks on teh food. Add the side fire box and spend a weekend slow smoking. I took a month to decide whether to buy another charcoal grill or go gas. With this grill no decisions are necessary - you can truly have it all. Read more

My Husband has been using the grill every weekend. He has been very pleased with this grill it is just what he wanted. He had been wanting to start smoking meat and not just cook it with propane. I like to cook on the propane side as I am still a rookie and the charcoal is too hard. We don't move it. The grill is heavy and well made. We are very happy with our purchase. Read more

This is a great Grill. I use both the gas and the charcoal. I could not ask for more even cooking. The wheels are horrible. My husband can build a car but after he put this grill together and tried to wheel it to where he wanted it, both wheels fell off. After trying a few times to reattach, with very little success, he has decided to make an axle and weld the wheels on. This is the only part that needs improvement. Read more
