This refridgerator became a part of our family after our very old 2 door model stopped getting cold...in a hurry i went out to buy it...sadly i had to wait about 3 weeks for it to be delivered because my local Best Buy doesn't stock it, but it was truly worth the wait. The things I like best are: -The chime when the door is left open...because the french doors don't take up a lot of space when they are left open, the kids often don't shut it all the way when they are getting food out. The reminder beep works wonders! -The 6 large bins on the door...are very easy to clean, they come right out and you can wash them and they adjust to lots of different positions to fit lots of different height items. -The split adjustable shelves...truly I haven't adjusted mine...they work where i 1st installed them...but i like the idea that if i have something large i only need to adjust one side of the shelf. -The freezer drawer, i thought i would hate it...but i love that it is very well lit and that … Read more

We purchased this refrigerator after months research for our new home and we are very happy with it. Initially we thought we have no other choice than to go for counter depth which is very expensive. But recently got to know about this LG model and found it to fit in our refrigerator space nicely. for less than 20 cu ft it seems to have lots of space and freezer is big too. we like the way the shelves are in two columns giving options to arrange different size items in each column. over all nice refrigerator and french door style adds to the look. Its just been couple of days that we bought this product. no problems it runs fine, very quiet, ice maker is good too. would have been excellent if the refrigerator width is little bit more. I've hated this refrigerator since about an hour after it was installed. It's too narrow (my fault--I shouldn't have purchased one with French doors.) I don't like having a freezer DRAWER--it's very difficult to get to the stuff on the bottom (again--my fault). The ice maker shelf broke about 3 mos after installation (and was repaired under warranty but I'm sure it'll break again.) The ice maker makes so much ice it overflows and when we open the freezer drawer, it gets pushed onto the freezer bottom. Cleaning that out is interesting! I use a dust pan to 'shovel out' the old ice. If you don't clean it out, the drawer eventually won't close. The light in the refrigerator section is so large, it's difficult to put anything on the top shelf. And because it has sharp edges, I cut myself every time. I thought the French doors would be more energy efficient but to get anything in or out you have to open both doors anyway. I'm hoping it breaks down soon! Needed a 30" refrigerator in a small kitchen with limited door swing space--this was (summer 2008) and remains (spring 2009) the best solution and the only 30 inch wide french door fridge. Have had it installed for about 9 months now, and am very happy. Maintains correct and consistent temperature, holds more than you'd think, very, very quiet (except for ice maker, which is loud). Gallon storage in door is convenient. Overall, a great solution for the small kitchen. Only dislikes are that the interior fittings are bulky plastic (would prefer something more space-efficient like Liebherr and Fagor) and that the door hinges aren't hidden. Both are minor quibbles; overall, we are very happy with this fridge. Note that the buying experience at homedepot.com was also great, with good pricing, prompt delivery and careful haul-away.
