Thus far I have used this system solely for DVD's and it has not dissapointed. Can't wait for football season. I bought this setup (this system and a 40' Bravia LCD) to use primarily as a secondary TV & for XBOX360 and my "play room/man land" (I'm afraid of screen burn in on my plasma TV). Games look wonderful but I'm only using the surround sound for DVDs because... Only drawback I can see is the set up - instructions are extremely confusing, I have yet to get the S-AIR to work. Setting up multiple pieces of hardware (reg. TV, DVD, IPOD/CDs, video games) with the instructions provided is truly a task. Instruction manual is for 3 different systems (each with different components & configurations/capabilites). In hindsight (and if it's offered) I would gladly have paid (if the price was right)for ABT to set this up for me (and I'm typically pretty good with this kind of stuff). Just got this system for Christmas. The only con was that it took approx 4hrs to set it up. However, once installed it performed as I hoped it would. Great sound - great BASS!! I LOVE the S-Air wireless. Fits perfectly on my desk and looks great. Turn on a radio channel on the TV and then turn on the S-Air and you have great music in your office. Read more

I havent really looked into all the features of this Surround Sound yet but so far my only complaint is that I dont think this system has any way of manually adjusting the sound levels. Would be nice to be able to turn down the Bass every now and again while watching tv. Has very good sound and is easy to use and setup. Read more

Sound is good, only bass is weak. Surround sound doesn't work in all "decoding modes". You have to change the decoding mode depending on the source of the audio. More of an inconvenience than anything else. Otherwise the system works fine and sounds decent. Better sound will cost more. Read more
