I recently purchased this dishwasher thinking we would be staying at the house in which we were living. We ended up selling our house and moving into another one which has an older dishwasher. I am planning to purchase this same one again to update our kitchen. It does a very effective job of cleaning and drying. I like the feature that makes sure the dishes are really clean. The tall tub fits plenty of dishes. It seemed to take a long time to finish a cycle of washing, but overall I was pleased and will purchase it again. Read more

Have had for over a year now with zero problems. The top rack can be raised or lowered to fit larger items below, and the layout allows for many different configurations for different shaped pots and bowls. I'm not sure why one of the reviewers below said there were no folding tines because there are - on both the upper and lower racks. I've had no problems with rusting or with the electronics/touch pad either.

It is quiet, and most importantly this dishwasher cleans quite well. Read more

This dishwasher is indeed very quite and it does a great job in cleaning the dishes. The Maytag Tall Tub Built-In Dishwasher has a Auto Clean cycle which adjusts cleaning cycle according to how clean or how dirty dishes are by using the Precision Clean sensor. Using this feature may wash and last longer than the rest.
The QuietSeries 300 sound package sure backs up its name because it is definately quite when compared to my previous dishwasher.
It is worth the money. Read more

We purchashed the Maytag Tall Tub dishwasher several months ago and I love it. It has deep trays that allows you to put almost any size dish or pot in the lower or even the top rack. We have 5 children and you can only imagine how many dishes are used daily. This dishwasher meets all of our needs and the time delay feature is wonderful. I like being able to set it while we sleep and wake up in the morning with clean dishes. Read more

This may be a bit pre-mature, but i will add more later if this washer proves to perform better than it is built. I just took out my first and only dishwasher, a 22 year old Whirlpool. I did not want to spend a fortune on a new one, so I opted for what I felt was a middle of the line model. Now keep in mind that at Home Depot you only see the front door and inside these units. You do not get to look under, behind, or beside the unit to see how it is built. When this unit was delivered and i took it out of the box I had the shock of my life. The body is totally plastic ! The base or legs it sits on look like metal pieces from a kids toy. The Whirlpool I had was all metal with a plastic liner(tub). The motor doesnt begin to compare to my old Whirlpool. It truly looks like a throw away unit. I will be surprised if I get 3 years out of it. I am guessing that today, you have to spend 800 to 1200 to get something comparable to what 22 years ago was an average to lower end unit. We Will See ! Read more
