This is a great tv for the kitchen if you have stainless steel appliances because of it's stainless steel finish. the picture is fine and the sounds is good enough for the kitchen. I mounted this in the kitchen using a Sanus wall mount. I would have given it five stars but the dvd player does not have an eject button on the remote. This has to be done manually. This is not such an inconvenience considering you have to put the dvd in the drive anyway. Other than that a great set for the price. Read more

I purchased this TV for my Stainless Steel Kitchen. It was very hard to find a small flat screen tv with a stainless steel finish. The TV is very attractive, it fits perfectly on the counter below the cabinet. The picture is very good, the sound is very good, the remote is very good and the DVD player is very good. I hooked up my rabbit ears, ran the channel scan (after carefully reading instructions), adjusted antenna, and wa la, 11 picture-perfect channels. Also have enjoyed playing DVDs, and some music CDs I recorded on my computer. All great. Am thinking about getting a DVD recorder. I recommended it to my son. This is a very disappointing product. After only 3 months the DVD Player started acting up, and quit after only 6 months of light use. Very disappointing. Make sure to keep a proof of purchase, otherwise the Audiovox people will not give you the time of day. They would not take my shipping receipt. Very unhelpful. I am usually very nice in my product ratings, but the unhelpfulness of the Audiovox people and the short lived time of use I got out of this one made me very unhappy. Read more

I purchased this TV for my motorhome. When I hooked it up for a trial at home it seemed not very bright. I adjusted as much as I could and it was probably OK. However, the first trip in the motorhome proved otherwise. For regular tv programs it seemed OK as it did at home. When night time scenes come on all I could see was light outlines of the people in the scenes. I had the old analog tv still in the front part of the motorhome so I turned it on. Everything looked as it should. Something wrong with the brightness on the Audiovox TV--I would not purchase it. I had to send it back to Ritz Camera,(Although I purchased through Amazon). I hope it all works out on my refund so I will be commenting on this company later. Read more
