Bring back Cotton Batik Pattern Fabrics

World market used to have so many nice cotton papa pads - but now only microsuede plastic nightmare. Hope it's just a phase and new ones will be in soon. I replace my chair cushion every 2 years or so and give the older one to my Great Dane when he needs a new bed. They are very durable and last another 2 years with heavy dog use! Read more

The cushion was needed for a frame that I was given. The choice of ultra-suede sold me. [...] The fabric is so soft and sensuous to touch, yet feels very thick and tough. The seams are heavy and no gaps..good workmanship overall. This cushion completely hides the feel of any frame. When I'm oozed into this cushion, I really feel that I am floating. There are NO LUMPS...don't know exactly what is used for the fill, but it manages to be lightweight, holds its shape, holds MY shape, and always looks "plumped". Too new to have any experience cleaning it, but prior uses of the suede cloth makes me confident. Read more

I ordered this papasan cushion for my daughter to use in her new apartment. She found just the chair frame at a garage sale and needed a nice papasan cushion. We comparison shopped online through several vendors and found that World Market had the better buy and the seemingly better quality cushion. We were very pleased with what we received! We ordered the dark brown and it was exactly as shown on the website. She has not used it yet due to moving into a new apartment but as she gets settled into her new place, we are certain it will be perfect for her decor! I have found that our dogs and their feline buddies love these papasan cushions. They usually have a sturdy fabric and are a good large size. They are extremely reasonable in price when compared to all other pet beds, particularly those for extra large dogs. Easy to keep clean by covering with a fitted twin size sheet. The fitted sheet helps keep the dog from scruffing the cover off the cushion. Since the prices are so low compared to regular dog beds, we keep a cushion in several rooms of the house. Read more

I got this papasan cushion based on all the 5-star reviews. I really don't see what's so special about it though. The fabric itself is very soft and comfortable, but the poly filling is clumpy and not dense enough. When I sit in my chair (the frame I bought from Cost Plus as well) I can feel the rattan beneath me (and I only weigh 90 lbs!) And just sitting in it for a few minutes hurts my back. What am I missing here? Read more
