Sold at [...] for years, they are now hard to find. While I'd pay almost anything for them,they last forever and are almost unbreakable and resist rim chipping. They are on the heavy side, but not unbalanced or bottom heavy or clumsy feeling like so many substantial glasses. The largest size is unusual and handles a whole soda with ice. They're attractive enough to be used for anything short of a formal china and silver service. They have no peer for hard family use. Read more

These are the greatest glasses. I bought my first set over 10 years ago and use them every day. Not one has broken - and I've lived in 5 states in 7 houses! I tried to buy more of them years ago and couldn't find them again. These are the real deal and I'm so happy to find them. Get them now while you still can - the factory is closed. I have Duralex glasses since I got married 11 yrs ago. I found them at a discount store and bought 2 boxes of the 12 oz and the 17 oz set. I still have all of them but one. I broke it when I accidentally knocked it of our counter and it dropped on our marble floor. That was that. I visited my mom and found that she has numerous mismatched glasses. She buys whenever there is one or two left. So I tried to find her the Duralex glasses. To no avail. Until one time I visited World Market and was so ecstatic to have found them.
