This is a business class phone but we are using it in our home because I could not find anything close to as nice in the personal category. THIS IS THE WORST SYSTEM WE HAVE USED. SOUND GOES IN AND OUT, SPEED DIAL SCROLLING AND LAST CALL SCROLLING FREEZES, THERE IS CLICKING ON CALLS THAT CAN BE HEARD BY BOTH SIDES OF CONVERSATION, AND BEEPING SOUNDS OCCUR INTERMITTENTLY WHEN ON CONFERENCE CALLS. My 2.8mhz phone system had been working fine but some of the handset displays were dying after 10 yrs of use. So I upgraded to a Uniden 5.8mhz system. What a nightmare. No matter where I placed the base, some of the phones wouldn't receive without tons of static in certain rooms of my house. I struggled for nearly a year to make it work. Then I gave up, did a ton of research and bought this RCA DECT 6.0 system. The RCA system worked great in every room from the first day and was easy to set up and use. I recommend it highly.
