We were looking for something that was inexpensive with an elegant look and something that would grow with our baby. It took my hubby about 45 mintues to put together. My only complaint is the height of the mattress once placed in the crib, I wish it could be a little higher but that's only because I'm 5'9 and hubby is 6'2. I wanted something that we could easily transition into a toddler bed and then to a full bed since he likely won't be sleeping in it as a crib much longer. I chose this crib because of the color & the price and I'm really happy with my purchase! The color is very close to the display model we looked at (maybe a tiny big lighter but not much) and the crib came without any scratches or dents. It was pretty easy to put together - I did it myself with no problem & am 7 months pregnant. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because this crib has exposed hardware but in this price range that is pretty much a given. Also wanted to note that on the lowest setting the mattress is very low. I was hesitant to get another crib made by Jardine. But, this crib has exceeded all expectations. It is very sturdy, was super easy to assemble...I put it together by myself being 8 months pregnant in about 30 minutes. I also love the fact that it converts into a daybed and then eventually into a full size bed.
