That's where we started. At 24 inches, it's a diminuitive version of the classy smooth-top ranges that many manufacturers offer in larger dimensions. Very good solution. Here's what you WON'T find...a combination built-in over-the-range (here, I'm talking about dealing w/ only the same 24 inches in width) microwave oven AND range hood. These can be found separately, but not together, in the configuration that will go perfectly w/ this Avanti stove.
