I bought the hitch, receiver, ball, and wiring harness to put on my Pontiac Vibe. Everything came over the course of a few days and arrived in good shape. I had my ex-husband there just in case but only used him to balance and hold up hitch while I bolted it on. You know how it is when the instructions (which I downloaded from the website in advance to see what installation would be like) look too easy? Well ha! The hitch really did install that easy. I thought I'd be storing the receiver hitch and ball in my car but it isn't in the way. It's a perfect fit. I have used it to pull a little trailer from home to town down several miles of bad road and haven't had any problems. It was very easy to follow the instructions. It also helps to have a decent ratchet set with extenders and joints. Unfortunately the fit on my 2009 Toyota Matrix S was a problem. I did not have to trim any heat shield or the bumper; however the tail pipe was hitting the hitch. The proper thing to do would be to go to an exhaust shop and have them make it work but I don't have the time or money to that so I took a grinder to it.
