We had a GE Spacemaker and this LG fits perfectly in the spot above the stove. It sticks out a little more (further than the cabinets) but its interior dimensions are way bigger than our old microwave. We don't use it a whole bunch but for the basic heating that I have done it works fine.

No problems at all. Read more

As someone who has cooked with microwave convection for more than 20 years, this is a very disappointing oven. It looks great and is a fantastic microwave, but the convection and combination features does not work. The oven temperature is consistently at least 60 degrees too low and it takes too long to reach any cooking temperature. It also will not maintain the temperature for any amount of cooking time. When trying to cook with the combination, the heat fell to 200 degrees within 20 mins. Cooking time therefore is twice as long as a conventinal oven raher than (as it should be), aobut 60 % of the conventinal cookingtime. I had sensors replaced twice and then the oven was completely replaced but the problem persists. I have gone back to using a conventional oven rather tahn dela withthe aggravation. Now after 6 months, the handle is cracking and pieces are falling off. I am trying to find a different manufacturer. Read more

We bought the LG model because all our appliances were LG, so we wanted to match. Because I wanted to try the convection/microwave feature, this is the only one LG makes.
Since I have been using, I found that I have been using the combination convection/microwave feature. Even though it takes longer than cook with microwave alone, the food is crispier.
However, it cannot replace you oven completely. I have not found that it works well with frozen pizza, the crust will not be crispy.
The only flaw to the oven is that a small plastic piece on the handle cracked and eventually fell off. I will attempt to glue it back on, but this is a minor flaw. Otherwise, the oven is beautiful, and it looks excellent in our newly remodeled kitchen. Read more

I just had my new LG microwave/convection over the range unit installed the day before Thanksgiving so I was excited to get rolling with it the next morning. With every appliance being used on Thanksgiving morning, it was impressive to be able to have an add'l oven in the kitchen. I didn't need to plan ahead to bake in shifts since I could do the turkey in the big oven along with baked potatoes and be cooking baked beans in the new LG. We still have alot of learning to do with this new appliance but presently we are thrilled. My college sons that came home for the holiday thought it did a great job of microwave popcorn with every kernel being popped. Read more

Having admired our in-laws convection oven a couple years, I wanted to get one in my own home. Also, I wanted something stylish that would go with our other stainless steel appliances. This LG delivered on both counts. First of all, it is beautiful - the rounded window is big and makes it easy to view your food as it cooks. The microwave cooking/defrosting is pretty standard - no complaints. But I'm blown away by the convection cooking. Roast a whole chicken in 45 minutes using the combination cook (part convection/part microwave), and it comes out crispy outside and tender inside. Cook a baked potato in 10 minutes using the sensor cook - perfect! We have no regrets on this purchase - it's a great addition to our busy kitchen. Read more
