This is actually my second purchase of a Niles IR kit. The first was purchased for a client and I liked it enough to get this one for myself. It replaces an old hit & miss wireless repeater. I mounted the sensor on my plasma and components are about 40' away in the projector room. The sensor is tight...picks up every command at various angles and lighting conditions with zero plasma interference. I think it even has improvement over using the remote & component directly. It's like the sensor doesn't just receive the signal, it grabs it. It recognizes even the slightest push of a button, even on those components that you would ordinarily have to use a firm press. It's a little pricier than most others but well worth it. Read more
