Ok. i've owned just about every Callaway club in the last 4 years or so. I just wanted a good set that didnt cost me a bunch. I saw the 4-PW in steel for under [$]. I looked at the 4 and 5 in my pro shop and thought this is really ugly a few months ago. Well who cares if they're ugly? They help a ton with accuracy. I was 195 out on a Par 4 yeaterday and hit it exactly as I envisioned and drew it to about 15 feet. This is a good set. I know they're designed for the mid to high handicapper but I dont care who you are it sure helps when you have a 4 iron in your hand and you have more confidence than you ever had. Give these a try. I hadn't golfed on a regular basis since I was 17. After moving to Hawaii, I (not surprisingly) caught the bug in late Summer 2008 but was relegated to the early 90's technology remaining in my bag. As you can imagine, my first couple of rounds were not pretty. Now 32 and having moved back to NYC with a decent job, I decided to invest in a new set of irons that would dramtatically improve my game but wouldn't break the bank. After countless hours of internet research, conversations with so-called experts and most importantly, trying virtually every club in the ultra-competitive "super game inmprovement" category, the Big Bertha 2008's were standouts. At first i was skeptical on what club to buy when i was ready for a new set. after hitting a dozen different clubs, the Callaway Big Bertha won me over. i play golf 2 to 3 times per week and for someone that gets the tennis elbow quite often, this club made the difference. the large cavity back asorbs the shock so well, i don't even feel the ball come off the club. the sweet spot is so much bigger, it allows for the forgiveness of a mis hit shot. when it hits. As a traditional iron player, it did take some getting used to with the I-brids. after playing them for a couple of weeks, you couldn't get me to go back to the traditional club for the longer irons. I decided to upgrade my clubs after using a $100 starter set for two years. The last few summers i only could hit 6-PW with my hybrid for any longer shots. I havent pulled the hybrid out after using these clubs. 3i-5i are easy to hit with great distance, the game is more fun now. Read more

I play every weekend and have been scoring in the mid to low 90's with the 06 big bertha fusions i had. I wanted to upgrade and had been watching for the sale. I did some research as to the best game improvement set and that lead me to these. I went straight from the sales room floor to the course and the results were immediate. Typically i had been going down a club compared to the guys i play with, With these new big bertha's i had to rethink my club selection because i started hitting everything i use to, too long and over the green. The ball jumps off the club and seems to just keep flying. The hybrids are very easy to hit and ive gained confidence in hitting my second shots even from the rough. My score has come down to the mid to upper 80's without even taking them to the practive tees. I'm a true ball striker instead of a shot shaper and I know can strike with confidence. Read more
