This is a great deck and i would recommend this to anyone. The touch screen display is very vivid and easy to use when "sitting still". It is awesome to have the touch screen but it is rather hard to use when your going 40 on the road going over bumps, its hard to hit the right button. Also i wasn't very pleased with how it plays burned cds. It plays them great at sometimes then when you try to change songs it freezes so you have to pop the cd out and put it back in. Other than that this is a great deck it makes your car sound great and every time someone gets in your car they are in complete awe because it looks sweet when you turn on the car and it slides open. Other people complaining about the remote probably installed the battery incorrectly, I almost made this mistake. There is a little prong on the right side of where the battery goes and that neds to sit on top of the battery, he porbably pushed it all flat. As far as the DVD's not playing, I don't know what to say there, but mine works great and I have had no issues. My IPOD touch directly interfaces with the head unit and I can control "EVERYTHING" on the IPOD from the radio, artists, playlists, etc... One word of caution for us second generation IPOD touch people though, it does not charge the IPOD while plugged in.... Apple changed the charge rate from 12v to 5v for the second generation IPOD Touch. This also happens with any existing accessory you might have bought before the change, because I also have an FM transmitter with the same problem as well as a set of external speakers. This unit is pretty awesome...its hugely expandable additional monitors, cameras, inputed video sources, Navagation features. They could have elobarated or at least provided some instructions on the proper way to install the battery in the remote..I can see why the first person sad his never worked. Also the DVD\CDR player does not like to function properly in COLD weather (below 38F) she spits out most if not ALL Disc when my car is cold until the interior tamp warms up not a real big issue for me since I have remote start and don't like getting in a cold car anyway.I have noticed that the Extra features like the Navigation module is on average about $200 kinda pricey for me and it's bulky. However I love the picture quality and the expandability of the unit definitly a good purchase if you need a good unit at a fairly low price Read more

This radio is great and is easy to install yourself, but professional installation is recommended. The touch screen is responsive and doesnt lag, and does not scratch that easy. You can connect an ipod to it, which makes this radio even better. Watching movies has a very clear picture also. I'd have to say the only things i do not like about this radio is that the theme is boring and it should have some more customizable stuff, and it shouold also come with a navigator adaptor, but for the price, i guess you cant beat it. Overall, a very good radio/dvd plyer for your vehicle. No problems at all. Read more

The first reviewer probably just got a faulty unit - happens with every brand. My unit works perfectly, no problems yet - I've been using it for about 4 months now. Everything gets full marks except that the rms is a bit low so putting over 4 upgraded mid speakers is a no no (use an amp if you want wake your neighbours) and there is no tv tuner, but for the price I should quite whinning and go buy one - they are sold separately and I would still have change for lunch and dinner, in comparison with purchasing a high priced unit.
