Awesome cab but stupid decision

This bass cab is awesome and not to mention absolutely beautiful. But, to be honest, it seems like a really dumb decision to go with something like this. For actually a dollar less, you can get the VX410 and VX410a to make an awesome full stack. Now, I'm not writing this to be cheap with the dollar remark. But, with the two VX410s, you just get a better deal. You get two horns instead of one, for those of you who like a stack with one straight and one curved, it's perfect for those and it's just overall easier to transport. With twice as many handles and half the size (and weight) of each, you can take these places like a breeze. Unlike the huge VX810. Yes, it looks like a cool huge amp, but for people who play in all reality like me, there's something far more logical out there to play with. FOR THE EXACT SAME SOUND. But hey, if you enjoy this over the others, use what you like. The sound shouldn't really alter too much. Read more

I tried this cab ut witha hartke 5500 watt head and i must say it is the best cab i have ever used. I have tried ampeg cabs with $[...] all tube heads. i even let the tube warm up for 15 minutes at first. I think the Hartke blows ampeg away. This cabinet is sweet full of tone, has nice deepth and produces a very nice warm sound. the only thing if you buy this cab and looking to buy a hartke head, buy the 5500 head instead of 3500a [...] thers so much tone in that head and what power to back it up too worth i would rather stick with this cab then a $[...] ampeg cabinet. One thing dont let people that have ampegs or G-K make u feel bad that they paid [...] for there cabs. U just know u have better quality amplification then they do. Read more

This cab is absolutely what I've been looking for and it is reasonably priced too! I paired it up with the Hartke HA5500 series head and couldn't of been more happier! I love everything about it from it's unlimited power to it's versatility and it's ease of use. Also this amp played just as good as an Ampeg for almost half the price. So now I have enough power to blow those Marshall's away!! Read more

i love this amp man its so loud and it handles very good at the coffee house - well it took all the stuff off the walls when i did my solo. i love how its the same as gettin two 4x10 i think two 4x10 would be better cuz that way i coul dkeep one at home and one aat the studio but this amp rocks. the handle are the best, too.
