I take Liquid Gel Carb Blockers when I'm going to eat a high carb meal, as I want to refrain from spiking my blood sugar. Also, want to maintain my weight. I am not diabetic, but have slightly higher than normal readings. I went on a vacation, was unable to maintain a low carb diet, and used the Carb Blockers. I lost 10 lbs during those 2 weeks. i'm not on a regimented diet or exercise plan at the moment, but i tried these out before a couple of carb-heavy meals and will testify to the fact that they kept the bloat at bay! i can usually tell exactly what i have put in my body the day after i eat it and i was pleasantly surprised that these took away some of that heavy feeling. so, whether you are on a low-carb program or not, i think these can be helpful little tools for anyone! I have been taking these for several weeks now, and I have seen a difference. As others have stated...will not necessarily be a "diet pill" that will cause weight loss, BUT it does support maintaining weight even when eating carbs. The concept makes sense -- the supplement states it blocks the enzyme(s) that allow your body to absorb carbohydrates. I have been exercising for a long time now, but often cheat at night/weekends. I am finding that this helps me to maintain my current weight. Have noted no side effects. I also think it is helping to curb my cravings for sweets. I'm limited to what I can eat and unfortunetly, most of what I am abel to eat are carbs. With "This" carb blocker, I have been able to eat what I can and still not gain. In fact, I actually lose weight on occasion. It is very easy to take, swallow and I have never had any problems with it at all. I have been taking this product off and on for a very long time.
