im from singapore, an extremely humid country. my face is acne prone with oily skin but not sensitive to most products (i have never had a bad reaction to any skincare products) this product works good on the acne. ive been using daily for about a month now & havent had a break out. not even during "that time of the month" where i am usually most prone. however, it dried me out quite a bit which is not usual for me. the area around my lips started to itch & flake. after a week or so, it didnt itch & didnt flake as much but its still there. my friend who's using too got the same exact reaction as i did. i believe there are other products out there that can do the same job as this cleanser but not dry me out so much. after this bottle, i'll be switching. WOW this is the BEST face wash i own right now! it's sooo good! i love the way it smells and feels on my skin. The instructions are quite simple, all you have to do is wet your hands and face and pump product into hands, lather, and gently exfoliate skin for about a minute and you're good to go! It really has helped reduce my blackheads tremendously! my acne was AWFUL before and was self conscious about it all the time (and being a 19 year old teenager that really sucks), and i couldn't even wear makeup because it would irritate it even more. But with St. Ives face wash, it helped control my oil and acne and i can wear my favorite Mineral powder foundation! the only little bad thing about it is that it's a "little" drying, which isn't all that bad because i could just use a little bit of some Cetaphil Face Moisturizer with SPF 15 (very important for skin by the way) and it gets the job done. I bought this product having used St. Ives Apricot scrubs in the past. Although this scrub is not as ex foliating as the scrubs we know St. Ives to be, it was still a pleasant feel on the skin and a pleasant smell as well. The problem was, one, it didn't ex foliate enough for me and two, it dried me out horribly. I have oily acne prone skin so I didn't anticipate the amount of drying I received from this product. My face started to peel and become rough and dry. Not only that, but it barely helped the complexion of my skin and the break outs. Overall this is a scrub that smells nice, but I wouldn't recommend it to people who are looking for a serious clean that won't dry you out. I'd probably hand this to a tween (not yet a teenager) as the scrub isn't too rough. Just be sure to use a moisturizer right after. Read more

I have had blackheads on my nose forever! The only thing that truly gets rid of them is a professional facial, working full time with three small kids that just DOESN'T happen anymore. I get blackhead's a lot during the summer, probably from spending so much time at the beach. My face also does break out when I am due to get my period. This is great stuff, after a few uses my blackheads diminished almost altogether. The only thing for me is that my nose did get somewhat dry after use so I don't use it everyday and it could just be me. I follow up with a good moisturizer after use. Read more

This is an amazing cleanser. it makes my face feel so fresh and gets rid of my blackheads effectively, i recommend this to everyone out there who wants clean smooth skin. however, it leaves my skin feeling dry. i reccomend a moisturizer after the use of this product. i don't recommend daily use, jjust because over scrubbing will leave your face dry, the your pores will produce oil, resulting in acne, but maybe every other day. the way i use this is every monday wednesday and friday, i use this product and the rest of the days i use something like NOexema citrus cleanser. i love this face scrub and will continue using it for the rest of my life. :) Read more
