I use my GPS for work since i am consultant. I travel all over Ohio for my job. I like the feature that corrects itself if i choose to drive an alternate route. It will work even if you drive another route to get to an interstate. Would highly recommend check other reviews. I do like the feature you can use voice to plan destination. The only thing so far that has been negitive is the home base charger is a USB port that plugs into a computer. The GPS will not charge unless your computer is on. I found out the hard way when my GPS ran out of battery life while looking for destination. Luckly i had my car charger with me at the time. The way to find out is when the voice starts to get sluggish on the GPS. I am now looking for a seperate home base charger. Another draw back is when the sun is bright its hard to read the display. I guess you can't blame Tom Tom for that since it is an LCD screen. I wished they would sell a sun filter for the unit. Maybe they will have one availible in the

I use the TomTom 930T all the time. When I am driving, I monitor the traffic for free with the included antenna. Rerouting is flawless. Route times are accurate and the features are plentiful. The options to configure the device are endless, especially when connected to a computer. The price is outstanding for all the amazing features. I researched other brands of GPS before I bought the TomTom 930T and I could not figure out why they cost so much more. I completely recommend this unit to anyone that wants a GPS. Read more

I drive an average of 1000 miles a week in cities and very rural areas. This unit is fantastic. I had a Navigon 7100 and a Navigon 7200T this is much better and well worth the extra money. Do yourself a favor shop around for the best deal online. You can save alot of money and get the same unit brand new. The unit is exc. POI's easy to locate and add new one yourself, make maps corrections if needed. Routes are very good and it will keep searching for even faster routes and if it finds a faster route even in mid route it will tell you.
Way too many things to list.
The only negatives would be the battery life is fairly short and the traffic antenna is separate. It is not incorporated in with the power cord like the Navigon 7200t. Read more

WARNING: do not update to version 8.3 as there is a bug that will cause the voice to garble, rendering unit useless.

The 930 is almost identical to the 920. Piano black vs Grey You may save $$ by getting a 920.

Wait until the 8.3 firmware is fixed before buying either unit. You will want to take advantage of the latest map guarantee, but currently the latest map requires FW 8.3, so hold off.
The high end TT's are more expensive than Garmin or Navigon, both of which have much better map update pricing. Also, TT traffic is expensive too.
But, TT traffic will work through many compatible cell phones and is much more robust than a TMC antenna.
The biggest problem that TT has not resolved is that you can't enter a street number of the format: 26w250 High Street. Garmin, Navigon and Magellan all allow mixed alpha+numeric street number entry.
Product has too many features to list, go the TT website for complete specs.
There is a very active TT user community with tons of POI Read more
