I bought this for my five year old daughter and her playmates for the summer. I liked this pool because of the size, enough for 4-6 kids to play in, and the depth, all the kids could easily stand up. Even adults could comfortably sit on the bottom and be submerged up to their shoulders. I was also thrilled with the idea of the zip-tight cover. Initially, it was great! Set up was easy and the box included everything. We used to pool daily for hours at a time. Then I realized that the filter replacements were not available locally. After weeks of calls back and forth to Little Tykes, and several fruitless leads, I finally had to buy a completely new filter system with cartridges that could be replaced locally. This delay made for lengthly daily pool cleanout that should have been done by the filter system that came with the pool. The pool itself was great, but we bought this specifically for the zip-tight cover. We purchased this the end of April, truly used it maybe 4x, and the cover was shredded within 3 months. A part of the pool faded out because the cover has a huge hole in it. We were very careful to correctly zipper it on after each use as well, as I have a 19m old son that's very curious. Little Tikes redeemed themselves, though, and gave a full refund. I would not recommend this to anyone who can't put this in a semi-sheltered area. Read more

This pool failed after three days of use. The pool wall tore/ripped and could not be repaired because it was on a seam. Little tikes customer service was notified, six months later there is still no response even though we contacted them about the issue several times after. They said they need to review the case. I have alot of little tikes products but after this I will not be buying ANYTHING from Little Tikes ever again and I urge you not to because they do not stand behind their products that they sell. If you do not believe me just search on the internet to see what others have experienced from this irresponsible company. Since Little tikes has the following policy... It was difficult to find a place in the yard that was flat enough for this. It was impossible to get warm more than 6 inches below the surface, at least without using a heater. (and not just because we live in Buffalo!) My daughter and her friends could never stay in it more than 5 minutes.
